Job description
Support the Splunk team
Ensure correct parsing and optimize data filtering of the log sources
Develop and maintainDashboards and Reports with visual metrics for stakeholders
Monitor the logging status of log sources to ensure continuity, availabilityand integrity
Monitor Splunksystem/TA updates
Troubleshoot and remediate incidents and operational problems (e.g., log source logging issues)
Manage user provisioning and access management
Develop and maintaintechnical documentation
Collaborate with peers
Support requests from legal counsel, auditors and others
Interact with different teams within or outside the SOC to support their activity
Qualification
Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, information science, or a related technical discipline
4+ years of related experience in cybersecurity or computer network defense
Demonstrated relevant experience as security engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge with Splunk and especially data modeling and enterprise security
Strong knowledge of Linux system internals
Knowledge in main security tools (NextGen anti-virus, vulnerability solutions, etc.)
Experienced with Python Scripting
YARA, Snort, RegEx and PCRE experience is desirable
Certifications such as Splunk power user or Splunk admin
Relevant work experiences
4+ years as Splunk engineer
