The Role:
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures including evaluating and optimizing
current IT processes and electronic data operations
• Analyze and identify business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop
solutions for IT needs
• Lead large IT projects, including the design, deployment, and adoption of new IT systems and services to help
businesses achieve objectives
• Monitor the performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, making
recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
• Drive improvements and assess risk in technology, process, and data, by emphasizing best practices
• Manage and work within the complete ITSM framework, including helpdesk, incident, and change management
• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising
their performance.
• Delivering regular updates to the IT Head highlighting the team’s activity, pressure points and upcoming activities
• Exhibit strong security and confidentiality practices with systems that handle sensitive data
Key Skills Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Information Systems, or a related field, or
equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience working in IT operations (Preferably Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a management
role)
• Strong skills in collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
• Proven track record of successful leadership and team management.
• Experience leading and managing large IT projects, including rolling out IT infrastructures across various
technologies with a strong emphasis on ERP and automation solutions.
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, data
storage systems, cloud technologies, and automation tools.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a relevant role, with extensive knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems
