Get to know the Role
We are looking for a Manager II position as Country IT Operation Manager to manage IT operations in India and lead the support for all GTS business stakeholders in India. As the Country IT Operations Manager you will report to Regional 1 EUC Operations Manager in Corporate IT and build the professional engagement with business stakeholders in India and also engage or support across various Grab departments or teams. Apart from that mentioned above, a successful candidate should be able to provide resources and IT services planning, maintain the country budget and manage vendor’s deliverables.
The Day-to-Day Activities
Having ability to manage your in country business stakeholders regarding their demands on specific support from country IT team
Manage the request pipeline, capture the requirements and definitions, and make decisions or provide solutions for the stakeholders
Manage project deliveries in your respective country and operational support excellence
For this role you will be responsible for managing your local suppliers to meet their deliveries commitment as agreed
This role also expected to have visibility on the latest trends on global business conditions where it will take impact on your deliverable such as goods or services
The successful candidates should be able to coach and mentoring the country team members to excels their performance
You build operational guidelines and frameworks to better improve your department’s processes
You lead a small to mid-sized team of individual contributors and/or team leads to execute and drive results on large-scale projects and/or global application support within your functional domain.
The Must-Haves
You can effectively engage with business and technology leaders with great service mindset; you have shown an ability to build business cases/proposals, define medium-term roadmaps (at least 6 months) and ability to frame complex decisions for senior leaders to make trade offs
You have basic financial and commercial acumen; define budgets for your team, tracking spends against budget, negotiating contracts, and lead the procurement process end to end.
You own the prediction of necessary resources at least 6 months in advance – people, money – required to deliver technology solutions to the business.
You can effectively resolve inter- and intra-team conflicts.
You are consistently building new ways of working to improve operational excellence within your functional team.
You effectively delegate assignments to team or cross-functional participants – while leading resource allocation for the team.
You will require skills on managing stakeholders, people and vendors.

You lead a small to mid-sized team of individual contributors and/or team leads to execute and drive results on large-scale projects and/or global application support within your functional domain.
Excellent communication/soft skill, able to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment. And able to handle pressure in fast-paced environments.
The Nice-to-Haves
Experience to build a business cases/proposals and get the buyout from leadership team will be a point plus
You are an experienced IT leader from a tech company environment would be an advantage
Background with managing multiple projects across the country
