Position Title – Manager – Application Support – AS/400

Purpose of Position
This position is primarily responsible for working on Support business on Audit query/ handle application issues, coordinating with business users and resolve the production issue noted during audit observations, Able to mentor technical team by providing technical solution and guide team in techno functional way.
The candidate would be required to drive team to work on issues raised by application users/Query raised by Auditors/ Product launched gap in system reported by business users or technical team, and provide relevant technical solutions in discussion with manager. Also need to understand AS/400 application jobs runs in TALIC (Online, EOD & EOM) and provide support accordingly. Able to handle integration part using AS 400 Store Proc/Services.
This role needs to prepare functional and technical design specifications, perform development, 1st level code reviews, support user testing prior to release, support implementation, postproduction support.

Key Responsibility Areas
1. Able to analyze and resolve system/application issues and coordinating with business users.
Able to work with auditors and user for closing of audit issue in system
2. Prepare design, development & support testing
3. Support EOD/EOM to ensure no issue on system process
4. Able to support integration part where AS400 server interacting with Other application using services/store Proc
5. Track schedules and provide status report to Manager
6. Drive & mentor partner resource in alignment with delivery expectations.
7. Coordinate with different Business & Technical stakeholders for functional understanding & solutioning.
Skills Required
Technical
Strong technical expertise in IBM AS/400 application programming using CLP, COBOL/400, ILE RPG/400, DB2/400. Atleast 2 years of experience in COBOL/400 is mandatory. Experience with ALDON CMS is preferred. Excellent communication and people management skills both written and verbal. Exposure to Life Insurance would be an added advantage.
