What we’re looking for:
An opportunity to join the Global Customer Service of a cutting-edge Security-as-a-Service and DPI vendor that provides Tier1 network operator grade Security and Analytics deployed on Cloud Platforms such as Openstack, K8s, Azure.
Handle 1st and 2nd level Analytics Requests professionally and independently via CRM, phone, and email, provide excellent, dedicated, and proactive support service, working with higher tier support teams and travel to customer sites according to need. All while maintaining direct contact with key customers in the APAC region off-site and on-site to assure customer satisfaction and success. Serving mainly APAC customer but with opportunities to serve and travel globally.
Working in 9-hour shifts according to coverage needs mainly aimed to cover APAC and EMEA regions but may include other regions or Key Accounts. The position includes Weekend shifts and on-call duty as part of 24×7 global coverage.
Responsibilities:
o Maintain highly available systems on Virtual & Cloud Platforms – Openstack, Dockers, Containers, Kubernetes
o Perform problem investigation and troubleshooting, provide resolution within SLA timeframe.
o Stage systems offered to customers in the lab to verify the required functionality
o Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
o Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
o Mentoring and guiding the team members
Requirements :
Skills:
o Hands-on Experience in Linux system administration and operation (CentOSRedHat preferred) – Is a Must.
o Excellent troubleshooting techniques to analyse and validate issues – Is a Must
o Strong hands-on working knowledge of TCP/IP networks, packet sniffing and traffic generation – Is a Must
o Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Mongo, Veritca
o Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
o Bash and python scripting skills for automation shall be an advantage
o Experience on Monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Graphana shall be an advantage
Soft Skills:
o Motivated and self-learner through hands-on experience and on the job learning.
o Able to work under pressure upholding strict SLA’s.
o Ability to learn and adapt quickly to technologies and technical environments.
o Excellent human relations, service orientated and excellent team player.
o Excellent communicator written and spoken:
Academic
o Graduate/Diploma of Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
NFV & Cloud Certifications will be an advantage– Openstack/Dockers/Kubernetes/AWS/Azure
