Monitor systems/applications as part of day to day Command Center Operations in 24×7 environments.
Use system and network tools to watch for interruptions in service or other pre-defined system events.
Take predetermined, diagnostic or remedial action wherever required.
Open tracking tickets for service interruptions and set severity based on defined criteria.
Ensure SLAs, schedule, quality and customer satisfactions are meet and exceeded.
Ability to prioritize and successfully handle multiple engagements simultaneously.
Responsible for achieving assigned metrics for the organization.
Contact the appropriate second level support team to respond to each service interruption.
Assist in problem resolution as directed by second level.
Participate in shift hand-off to ensure seamless support at shift turnover.
Expected to perform as a virtual extension of the Eaton Data Center event management team.
Qualifications
1-2 Years of IT Infrastructure Support/Monitoring Experience.
Strong work ethic; highly organized; ability to work under minimal supervision.
Excellent problem solving/ analytical skills.
Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to deal with ambiguous situations..
Strong information gathering skills
Strong communication skills
Good team player
Complete Understanding of Remote Infrastructure Management using ITIL Framework.
Strong Understanding of Global Command Center, L1 Support Model and the Work Flow between L1 to L2
Knowledge of Data Center Technologies, Facility Maintenance, Wide Area Network and Security.
Knowledge of Operating systems like Windows, Unix, Linux, etc.
Knowledge of any system/application monitoring tools like Control-M, CA-7, HP Operations Manager etc.
Knowledge of Remedy.
1-2 Years of IT Infrastructure Support/monitoring Experience.
Education – Any Graduate
