Areas of Responsibility
To comply with the IT Policy of the Hotel.
Determines specific system requirements by working with hotel users
Makes recommendations regarding the development, implementation and maintenance of hotel departmental standards and guidelines
Prepares reports as requested to develop improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities.
Coordinates with outside software and hardware vendors; consults with Radisson Management Services Department before making final decision regarding new systems
Installs, implements and maintains business systems at the hotel level
Monitors and maintain proper inventory of system supplies; ensures proper use of systems by training and educating hotel users.
Demonstrate the ability to apply technical, professional or product expertise to everyday hotel situations.
Updates hotel “Crash Plan” regularly and monitors its use by user departments
Maintain comprehensive service log; maintain a reliable and useable data backup procedure to enable quick and accurate restoration.
Customize Software for internal use
Assist with budget preparation
Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns
Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Finance.
Other responsibility:
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Adheres to hotel policies and procedures:
Attends work on time and as scheduled.
Follows hotel grooming, hygiene and dress standards.
Minimise safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
Refrain from personal conversations with other staff at the main entrance.
Keeps immediate manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote co-operative and harmonious working climate.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum five years of experience in IT systems (preferably in hospitality)
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Basic ability to use computer hardware and software (e.g. Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sun System, Material Control, Opera etc.).
Experience managing of brand standards
Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
