Handle Tier 2 & 3 support cases towards Windows Support.
Troubleshoot Windows Hardware and Software issues to resolution
To manage and support all Windows client and servers including the Operating System
Perform system tuning, performance reports and root cause analysis
Perform network troubleshooting to determine system or network related issues
Resolve customer service requests and alerts including windows workstation OS, server OS, development applications, office 365 (exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, teams, Office suite etc.)
Respond, resolve, and escalate user issues within windows environment via internal ticketing systems (Service Now)
Familiar with deploying and updating software using SCCM.
Perform installations and patching of windows client and Server OS.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication, documentation, and customer service skills
Scripting Knowledge (Power Shell / Batch / VBS etc.)
scripting knowledge and automation experience are mandatory
VMware Virtualization administration skills will be an additional advantage.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Ability to perform system administration for Windows environments with an experience of at least 4-7 years.
Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams
Excellent customer service attitude, ability to work independently or as part of a team
Experience working in a multiple vendor platform environment
Effective written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of computer hardware and software components and their interaction with operating system software, and excellent troubleshooting skills
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
