The Supervisor – Tech Support is responsible for leading the team that provides technical support for various manufacturing facilities of GP(Georgia Pacific) which is one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of tissue, pulp, paper, toilet and paper towel dispensers, packaging, building products and related chemicals.. The objective of the team is to ensure the employees of manufacturing plant have the right infrastructure and tools, applications to execute their day-to-day job, while also overseeing IT/Technology components enabling the manufacturing process are functioning appropriately. This role is accountable for problem-solving and developing solutions when systems encounter performance issues.; coordination with various other technology groups within GP and KGS.
A Day In The Life Could Include:

Manage a team of individual contributors who are Technical Support Analyst supporting GP Manufacturing Plants
Collaborate with GP global teams for planning and implementation of IT infrastructure in GP manufacturing units
Manage the IT infrastructure, applications and operations for manufacturing plants
Communicate / escalate system outages for timely and appropriate resolution of issues
Ensure that IT services and processes are conducted in line with corporate technical policies and applicable standards, legislation, and regulations
Address site-contained system performance issues and develop solutions / workarounds where feasible
Maintains site IT hardware, software licenses and upgrade
Maintain site servers and IT infrastructure
Expected Results:The Technology needs are met so employees can do their jobs effectively.
Work with the GP Business stakeholders on all IT matters in order to achieve the set goals.
What You Will Need To Bring With You:

Strong administrative skills
Strong relationship building and management skills
Effective communication skills across a range of audiences
Manufacturing IT experience preferred
IT functional experience required
Strong vendor relation skills to identify and leverage both internal and external resources that support business objectives
Strong organization skills and experience building consensus
Strong customer service skills
What Will Put You Ahead:

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience
Expert in Manufacturing IT services
Education Preferred:Bachelor of Technology / Master’s of Technology

Should be willing to work in US work hours or 24×7 environment.
