Qualifications
SUCCESSFUL RECRUITERS HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree
4 years of proven experience in recruiting/sourcing talent for a range of positions; financial services industry is preferred
Detail-oriented, organized, creative, proactive, and understand the urgency and confidentiality of the recruiting function; Can source, screen, and interview large volumes of candidates for numerous openings
Passionate about sourcing passive and diverse talent
Have demonstrated experience in building/cultivating strong relationships with candidates/staffing sources
Experience with web-based applicant tracking systems as well as experience recruiting through the use of job boards, social media, and networking
You love recruiting and see it as your mission to provide an amazing experience for all the candidates and hiring leaders you work with
Have knowledge of current HR law regarding employment
Are autonomous but not afraid to ask for help when needed
Are not only driven by individual success but the by the success of the team
Have the ability to prioritize and work well in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
Knowledge of building personal networks (Employee Resource Groups, User Groups, Community Organizations, etc) and Social Networking (LinkedIn, Spoke, Twitter, Google+, etc)
Accomplish tasks and responsibilities in accordance with scheduled deadlines without sacrificing quality standards; demonstrates punctuality in both work performance and attendance
Consultative and influencing skills
Excellent understanding of the internet as a sourcing tool
Maintain a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy, professionalism, and the highest level of discretion
Sharp, quick, aggressive ability to deal with business; demonstrate business communication and writing skills
