Role Description – Summary:
The Solution architecture is a complex process, with many sub-processes to bridge the gap between business requirements/problem and technology solution.
The Solution Architect (SA) qualifies to architectural decisions, constraints and patterns adopted within the products delivered. Acts an agent to transform business requirements/problems into desire technical solution by using various design pattern. They will support Product Owners, Chapter Leads, and Squad Members to adhere application design and maintain the overall technical vision of a particular business solution. SA participates in defining and driving the target architecture of the product/functional area/products of the business application from the enterprise point of view and ensures the architecture’s integrity and compliance with enterprise standards and policies.
The Engineering Solution Architect is responsible for creating architectural solutions and is part of the architecture owner team which is responsible for overall architectural direction of the Business Application. The Engineering Solution Architect leads their sub-team through initial architecture envisioning for their sub-systems and will be involved with the initial architecture envisioning for the system as a whole.

Your key responsibilities
Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
Work closely with Product owners, UI/UX, and squad members to design solution architecture in conformance with bank standards, regulatory and security requirements
Write technical documentations including design, documentation and training materials
Present solution to Enterprise Architect, validation committees at different levels and secure approvals
Collaborate with cross-squads/cross-functional tribes and to understand and build appropriate solutions
Lead and create quick proof of concepts and identify break-through solutions
Work with Central Architecture Board and align solutions with standard reference architecture
Collaborate with DevOps/QA on continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Define Agile (Scrum) based practices with test driven development
Your skills and experience
Comfortable working in an open, highly collaborative team
Experienced with Agile principles and motived to lead the teams across the organisation
Experienced in standard testing practices (Unit, UI, Functional, Performance, Scalability, Regression etc.)
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex business processes and technical designs and concerns into easy to understand language

Design architecture standards along with other Tribe architects
Minimum 10-12 Years’ experience in IT & Architecture, preferably servicing for the Banking Applications Domains
At least 5-6 years of experience as a Solution Architect
Significant experience with and knowledge of Agile design methodologies and process
Strong background in web, database and mobile application technologies
Proficient in one or many programming languages (Java, Objective-C, Swift, C++ etc.,)
Good understanding of micro services architecture
Well versed in HTML5, CSS3 and native JavaScript
Familiar with security practices (hardware security module, application security monitoring, mobile application security)
Middle Tier – WSO2 / Spring Boot , Spring Cloud (Netflix OOS Stack)
Experience with Web (Apache), Application Servers (Tomcat, Weblogic) and database (Oracle, SQL/PL-SQL)
Experience protocols and formats (HTTP/HTTPS, Websockets, SOAP, RESTFul, JSON, XML)
Relevant experience in mobile applications as below
Experience in Android UI Layouts, Themes, Custom Styles etc.
Expertise in iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Services, etc)
Experience in Core Data, iOS Networking libraries, UIKit etc.,
Ability to develop custom iOS UI controls
iOS project infrastructure (code-signing, certificates, provisioning profiles etc.,)
Experience in NodeJS, Falcor, React, JSX, Flux, Redux and Netflix OSS Stack is highly preferred
Familiar with network & deployment architecture for iOS/Android apps in Banking world
Experience in React-Native & ReactJS Framework
Experience in Cordova/AngularJS, Native platform SDKs (iOS, Android) will be good to have
