What you’ll achieve
As a Technical Support Engineer 2, you will provide top-class technical support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ priorities & issues and resolving complex technical issues in a fast-paced, customer critical environment, working on improving processes, standards and strategies to perfect our Support Services.
You will:
Be a part of the team which is accountable & responsible for providing remote management, support, and ongoing issues & maintenance of VxBlock environments within a customer’s VxBlock Infrastructure Platform in a 24x7x365 environment
for & execute and document moderate to complex operational tasks
work requests that are assigned and have experience in moderate to complex research
fact finding using various tools and informational sources

Essential Requirements
3+ years of relevant experience with VMware ESXi, ESX 6/7.x, vCenter 6/7.x. This experience should include troubleshooting but also can include the planning, deployment, configuration of host systems and virtual machines
Knowledge on Virtual Networking concepts, Strong troubleshooting and analytical experience while working with customer
VMware (ESX /VSphere) support Experience, VCP certification(mandatory)
Knowledge & experience on VMWare ESX Server Hardware setup with HA/DRS, upgrading ESXi hosts and VM guests using VMware Update Manager
SCCM, vNext understanding, SCOM understanding AND/OR Clustering/VMotion
Experience with server migration/upgrade of VMware environment from one version to another
Desirable Requirements
Knowledge on VMware NSX
VMware VCP/VCAP certifications
