Job Title: IT Asset Manager
Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software
Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software license in Summit to make sure they complied with vendor contracts
Provide KPI/Metric information and standardized reporting on a scheduled basis together with unscheduled reporting demanded by Entrust
Establish and maintain hardware and software maintenance database
Manage activities concerning license compliance audits to be able to answer to requests from software editors effectively
Ensure process efficiency by implementing the key performance indicators; suggest improvements to the process continuously
Design processes relating to software and hardware asset management, execute and enhance them
Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management
Manage IT hardware asset portfolio with respect to risk, cost control, governance, compliance, and performance objectives.
Develop and maintain company policies and processes.
Plan and implement IT hardware asset life cycle strategy; advise Procurement and IT Operations in procurement strategies for IT hardware acquisition.
Serve as IT hardware asset management subject matter expert.
Optimize usage and cost of IT hardware deployments.
Manage acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets.
Has strong process and Demand / Asset Management competencies and works within the scope of the overall ITSM program
Proven experience managing End-to-End Asset Management Life Cycle Experience (both in Hardware and Software) at an enterprise level and/or high security environment
