In Downstream Enterprise Portfolio and Function’s Analytics and Reporting (DS EPF A&R), we believe that too much corporate IT “just happens” into existence, often with an eye only for technical considerations. We want to turn this around and build a reputation for good design, solid aesthetic, and highly useable products. Our teams build applications used by tens of thousands of internal staff per day, relying on an evolving set of tools and methods to deliver complex projects allowing our business to realize value from data. We want to offer our developers a set of services which allow them to focus on what matters – writing high quality applications that delight our users. To do this, we’re pivoting our internal capability model from “Project” to “Product”, built around user-centric services. A good service is simple, easy to consume, and does something useful. Good service design isn’t complicated, but it is hard. You’ll also get an opportunity to work on next generation of analytics technology involving AI & ML.
