Purpose :
Chain IQ places a strong emphasis on automation and digitalization, which are key components of its service offerings. The company is seeking a professional with extensive technology consulting and architecture experience to drive business opportunities through digital innovations and enhance Chain IQ’s digital platform architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business and IT strategies into sustainable technology solutions, and will take ownership of enterprise IT architecture from idea to benefits delivery. The position requires expertise in service-oriented architecture (SOA), as well as ITIL and Agile methodologies, covering Digital Consulting, Demand Specification, Solution Strategy, Marketing & Communication, and working closely with other IT functions, external clients, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with clients and business representatives to leverage new technologies, both internally and externally, to shape business opportunities and offerings.
They will work closely with IT Application Development and IT Security & Risk professionals to develop digitalization solution architecture for businesses and clients.
Keeping up to date with the latest technology trends, the candidate will effectively communicate them to ensure that the company stays relevant and credible.
They will also develop visions, studies, and decision support to establish standards and lead the solution architecture unit to ensure projects are completed on time.
It will be the candidate’s responsibility to ensure that the digitalization solution architecture aligns with Corporate and IT strategy.
In addition, they will oversee and coach the IT development team on IT solution projects, proactively manage the solution’s scope and technological risks during the delivery process, and collaborate with internal subject matter experts to validate the proposed solution.
Finally, they will conduct market research and analysis to prepare comprehensive product specifications and determine whether to develop in-house or outsource based on the latest digitalization knowledge, and will document the solution in requests for proposal (RFP) responses, proposals, and statement of work (SOW)/high-level design (HLD) documents.
Requirements:
Proven experience in facilitating discovery workshops with customers to understand challenges and business needs, with a focus on procurement industry and supply chain management integration and automation.
Demonstrated experience in integrating disruptive technologies, such as on-prem to cloud migration, AI virtual assistants, mobile apps, and big data analytics, to enhance business value.
Experience in developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps to guide the development of technology solutions.
Proven ability to develop customized presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes to showcase a solution’s business value to C-level customers.
Strong knowledge of digital supply chain, BFSI, retail, and IT business domains.
Comprehensive understanding of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, predictive analytics, RPA, and AI automation technologies.
Thorough understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
Solid understanding of information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, IT security, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
Ability to balance business and technology acumen, articulate technical solutions to business problems, and tie solutions to program success criteria.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to draw clear observations, analysis, and conclusions based on customer interviews and data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a proactive and responsible work ethic and a high degree of quality awareness.
Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Applications, or equivalent industry experience.
TOGAF 9 certification is a plus.
