Takeoff Technologies, a Massachusetts-based tech company, is the creator of the world’s first automated micro-fulfillment center (MFCs) that transforms the way people access groceries. Our solution provides retailers with the most cost-efficient way to fulfill their online grocery orders, using automated, hyperlocal micro-fulfillment centers.
As the Corporate IT System Administrator you will manage Corporate IT end user assets, including Apple Mac/Windows systems, Office WiFi, AV equipment, providing hardware refresh, OS and software upgrades, and ongoing maintenance. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues and follow the sun end user support. Ideally this person would be able to be onsite 2-3 days a week.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day activities and projects of the Corporate IT department in accordance with organizational policies and goals
Establish and manage the location’s corporate IT requirements, including project-based work with the Corporate IT management team
Manage workstations, on-boarding and off-boarding, email, individual back-ups and recovery, Wi-Fi, A/V issues, Anti-virus and experience with Apple Mac and MS Windows systems management software
Troubleshoot and assist users with application and hardware issues and problems
Ensure physical and security compliance for hardware and software assets
Work with users to schedule hardware installations and/or moves
Creating and maintaining Corporate IT end user manuals and self service documentation
Responsible for supporting global Takeoff offices and employees, follow the sun end user support
Coordinate and take locational lead in our multi-site corporate IT implementation of policies, and hardware/software standards
Implement, monitor and document Information Security best practices and processes for the location as governed by the Information Security Manual
Work in concert with the Operations and Engineering groups as necessary to ensure proper operation and integration with internal systems
Configure, manage, and provision access to products used internally to end users
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation supporting live environments as needed
Managing local asset management, and access management list
Manage the inventory and ordering process of IT-related products such as SaaS subscriptions, software licenses, computers, and other hardware.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Mac/Windows PC operating systems, Linux, etc
Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, and system upgrades
Able to provide hands-on support, and help lead trouble-shooting efforts, and remediation in a timely fashion
Operations support experience, including system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery
Working knowledge of workstation/configuration management tools such as Jamf / SOTI in a mixed (primarily Mac) environment
Experience with managing and maintaining single sign-on (SSO) environment with experience in application integration for SSO use
Experience with managing cloud based antivirus environment and support the end-user setups and troubleshooting
Experience managing end-user mailboxes and troubleshooting in Google workspace or MS Office 365
Managing and supporting collaboration tools such has Atlassian suite, Slack, etc
Create and maintain proper documentation including run books, FAQ/Self-Service documentation, and support documentation as needed
