Responsible for managing and maintaining the computer networks within an organization. Ensure that the network infrastructure is secure, reliable, and optimized for efficient operation. The scope of this function includes supporting cast, but all the criteria below must be clearly understood.
Key Roles
· Networking: Knowledge of networking protocols, topologies, and equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs is crucial to ensure connectivity and security of computer systems.
· Windows Server installation, configuration and maintenance.
· Mail services (IMAP, POP3, SMTP)
· Experience with virtualization technology, such as VMware, Hyper V
· Knowledge of storage technologies such as RAID, SAN, NAS, and cloud storage
· Good understanding of cloud computing technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is essential to manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services.
· Active Directory: Understanding of Active Directory services such as Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP is necessary to manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and network resources.
Job Responsibilities
· Install and configure hardware and software systems, including servers, desktop computers operating systems, database management systems, and productivity software and printers.
· vSphere deployment and migration basic knowledge
· AD configuring and managing end to end.
· Manage and maintain hardware components, including network and storage devices, peripherals, and other related equipment on the network.
· Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups, upgrades, and repairs.
· Ensure the security and reliability of hardware systems and networks, including implementing firewalls, antivirus software, and other security measures.
· Collaborate with other IT staff to develop and implement and maintain documentation related to technology policies and procedures.
· Provide technical support to end-users and train them on the proper use of hardware and software systems.
· Monitor hardware and software performance, identify, and troubleshoot any issues or errors that arise.
· Maintain internal and customer VoIP systems.
· Manage and maintain software applications and services, including ensuring that they are up to date and functioning correctly.
