Key Responsibilities : 1-Provide Tier 2 Network Operations support during operational incidents 2-Maintains current network infrastructure and leverages the manufacturer for advanced support 3-Maintains high network availability for redundancy and resilience 4-Understands and accounts for peak load; manages peak load events 5-Follows Standard Operating Procedures SOPs for operational efficiency 6-Optimizes, implements and monitors network performance 7-Maintains and reacts to Enterprise-grade network monitoring system
Technical Experience : 1-Assists in the deployment of network equipment for new office build outs, domestically and internationally 2-Assists in the deployment of WAN circuits, including MPLS VPNs and P2P/IPsec circuits 3-Knowledge of TCP/IP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS and L2 technologies 4-Knowledge of Nexus 7K, 5K, 3K 2K Data Center Switches 5-Proficient at troubleshooting L2 issues for LAN, WAN WLAN 6-WAN Optimization knowledge 7-Hands on experience with WAN technologies 8-Review and audit router ACLs for user access
Professional Attributes : 1- Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization 2- Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision 3- Should be open to work in shifts
Educational Qualification : Bachelors Degree
