Acharya Dental Looking for Systems Administrator at Chennai, Tamil Nadu Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to oversee the IT infrastructure of Acharya Dental, the largest private dental clinic in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the clinic’s hardware, software, and networking systems to ensure that they operate efficiently and effectively. The Systems Administrator will also be responsible for maintaining the clinic’s computer systems and resolving any issues that arise in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and maintain Windows 10/11/7 and Windows Server operating systems and applications.
• Manage the clinic’s network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor and maintain the clinic’s server infrastructure, including backups, disaster recovery, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring security and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain and update clinic’s electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring proper access and backups.
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect clinic’s data and systems.
• Monitor and maintain the clinic’s phone system and other communication technologies.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Windows 10/11/7 and Windows Server administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and HIPAA regulations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with staff at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Industry certifications, such as MCSE, CCNA, or CompTIA A+, are a plus.
