Highlight of the engagement opportunity

• Nature of role: Full time
• Number of years of experience expected: 0-3 Years.
• Areas of past experience preferred: Software development, Product Testing, Requirement Gathering
• Educational qualification expected: B.E. Computer Science/IT degree
• Preferred geography of previous work experience: India / Europe / APAC / US
• Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English
• Application experience: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Python, C++, MSSQL, PosgreSQL

Key responsibility areas:

• Understanding on technology project scopes, deliverables, objectives and outcomes
• Lead testing team in terms managing scope of testing, allocation of testing actionable and owning testing outcomes
• Monitor performance of testing team in terms of testing coverage, testing quality and timeliness
• Provide testing result metrics and periodic reports as inputs to development team
• Liaise with development teams on testing issue patterns and themes to prioritize to improve overall development quality
• Align with development teams on roadmap priorities to ensure resourcing adequacy, timely testing and adherence to release roadmap
• Develop and augment testing standards and guides and ensure adherence to the same
• Document testing framework and publish quarterly testing reports for external stakeholders
• Lead initiatives for automation of application testing through use of selenium and python-based test cases
• Develop and maintain testing pipelines for pre-commit checks, container security checks, etc for ongoing testing and quality adherence

Other important information:

• Work permit requirements: Either Indian Citizen or having valid work permit to work in India
• Period of engagement: Full-time position
• Probation period: 6 months
• Compensation: Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process.
• Performance incentives: Typically, all roles at Acies have a performance incentive. Specific aspects will be discussed during the compensation discussion
• Leave: 22 working days a year. Additional leaves for national holidays, sick leaves, maternity and paternity, bereavement and studies vary based on the city and country of engagement.
