We are looking for an Information Security expert who can ensure end-to-end security of data and systems. Below are the roles and responsibilities along with the required key skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor alerts and logs and take appropriate action from the SOC perspective as per the organization’s security controls.
- Continuously monitor, suggest enhancements, and measure information security controls of the organization (on-prem and cloud).
- Collaborate with internal audit, and product security for VAPT, GRC, and other stakeholder teams to consistently improve the security posture of the organization.
- Should be able to guide SPC engineers w.r.t incident handling and problem-solving daily.
- Collaborate with IT, Engineering, DevOps, and different cross-functional teams with regard to security requirements.
- Deliver automation-focused results as per the organization’s business objectives.
Must-Have Skills :
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in implementing, operating, and enhancing:
- CASB
- EDR/XDR
- DLP
- AWS OR GCP Cloud Security Services
- Google Workspace Security monitoring or G-Suite Administration experience
- Security Operations Centre logic building for log generation, alerting, and monitoring.
- Hands-on practical skills in Python and Bash/Shell scripting.
- Logical reasoning and ability to solve problems in engineering and product-focused environment.
- Automation skills – Must have automated administrative information security tasks in the endpoint security, controls review, cloud security services, or security operations center (SIEM, Log monitoring, Alerts).
- Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10, Application Security, VAPT, and report writing.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline, secure code review, and DevOps environment.
- Exposure to vulnerability management and patching.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major ticketing tool (ServiceNow, ManageEngine, etc.), JIRA environment, or vulnerability management tool.
Good To Have Skills :
- Exposure to internal audits
- Knowledge of ISO27001, RBI, IRDAI, or other information security standards.
- CEH or PNPT or CompTIA Security+ certified.
- Advanced excel/google sheets experience, and demonstrable Google Fu.
- Reasonable exposure to data privacy measures and standards.
