Work Shift:
Day (United States of America)
Serves as primary liaison between Payroll and Information Services for all payroll systems activities. Ensure the Financial Operations department is adequately supported with all necessary applications and reporting capability. Oversees, coordinates, and participates in pay period processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll. Lead role in testing/implementing Financial Operation systems updates. Responsible for configuring new initiatives in Workday Payroll and Kronos Time Reporting systems.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing new payroll reporting.
Responsible for maintaining, updating existing payroll reporting.
Lead in creating and loading payroll EIBs in Workday.
Conduct Kronos training for managers
Assist other departments in completing Payroll input EIBs.
Complete weekly payroll settlement process.
Manage W-4 New Hire NYS reporting.
Review and balance quarterly reporting between Workday and ADP.
Responsible for set up of additional states in Workday and ADP for remote workers.
Assist Payroll staff with completing transactions as needed.
Responsible for reviewing the Retro calc in Workday and taking necessary completion/correction actions.
Foreign national tax processing
Lead for Workday or Kronos updates.
Lead for any new payroll programming in Kronos or Workday.
Education:
Bachelors
Licensure, Certification & Registration:
Certification in Workday Advanced Reporting
Experience:
2 years’ Workday analyst experience
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Vast knowledge of Workday HRMS/Payroll including report writing and EIB integrations, attention to detail, strong numerical skills, analysis, data-entry, problem solving, confidentiality, customer service, teamwork, verbal and written communication, stress tolerance, well-versed in Excel
