Job Description
· Provide Tier 1 level technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond to queries either on remote support or over the phone.
· Expert in managing, maintaining and support Windows 10+ based end user computing devices
· Hands-on experience servicing/troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other peripherals
· Experience supporting Microsoft Office, Office 365 administration and other application software
· Answers, evaluates and prioritizes service requests via phone, voicemail, email and in person for users
· Performs move/add/change tasks for desktop/laptop hardware and software systems
· Experience managing remote desktops, Citrix, VMware View environments
· Meet SLA requirements for problem resolution
· Log and track issues in our service management tools
· Support VOIP telephony systems and video conferencing hardware and software
· Learn eDiscovery applications to assist with support across the organization
· Maintain best practices on security for supported applications
· Keep manager and other team members informed of trends, delays or complications that arise during normal course of work
· Collaborate with other IT team members as needed
· Participate in creation and maintenance of IT standards and procedures.
· Support the vision and values of the company and the team through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
· Flexible in working in night shifts
Requirements
– Candidate must be a computer graduate.
– At least 2 years previous service desk/end user support experience in a corporate environment.
– Microsoft certifications preferred
– ITIL V3 certification desired
– Experience with ServiceNow is a plus
– Excellent communication skills
– Candidate should be aware of incident management process of ITIL.
– Candidate should have hands on experience on basic Wintel tasks such manage, unmanaged servers, performing ping and tracert (traceroute) commands on network devices, basic database queries like select, insert, update, website monitoring.
– Candidate should be able to work independently and should be good team player.
– Candidate should be flexible to work in rotation shifts.
