We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our dynamic and growing IT teams in Bangalore, India. The successful candidate will oversee local site support, service desk, Network Operating Center (NOC); as well as global teams supporting infrastructure services, app development, data and analytics, and cloud engineering. This role demands a visionary leader with a strong technical background, capable of driving technology strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and Strategy: Provide strategic direction for all aspects of the IT department. Develop and execute IT strategies that align with the company’s business goals, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor IT teams across various domains, including site support, service desk, NOC, infrastructure, data and analytics, systems administration, and cloud engineering. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing culture.
• Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services that meet the needs of the business. Oversee the service desk and NOC operations to ensure they are responsive and effective.
• Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering: Lead the development and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure and cloud computing resources, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient.
• Data and Analytics: Oversee the management and strategy for data analytics and business intelligence. Ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security to support decision-making processes.
• Systems Administration: Ensure the effective management, maintenance, and support of all IT systems and applications.
• Project Management: Plan and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Implement project management best practices to manage scope, risk, and stakeholders.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Develop and maintain a robust IT security framework to protect company data and assets.

Skills And Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 13+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing diverse IT functions. Experience in a global or multi-site leadership role is a plus.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), data analytics, cybersecurity, and IT service management principles. Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or cloud services are advantageous.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams. Strong decision-making, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale IT projects.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology landscapes and business needs.
