The Team: Amazon Kiosk is an autonomous kiosk launched to provide a magical shopping experience to customers where they can just scan a QR code to open the door of the kiosk, pick the items of their choice & go. We are looking for a passionate, customer obsessed category manager to own the selection and seller strategy for us.
Category managers at Amazon are responsible for driving the right selection experience and growth of their category. They will also own enhancements of the customer experience by influencing category needs based on the trends in the marketplace and other environment data.
As a category manager for Amazon kiosk , you will be responsible for scaling a relatively new category, managing and enhancing the selection experience, growth plans, and the seller strategy. You will anticipate our customer needs and incorporate them into the business roadmap and own the end-to-end execution with stakeholders including brands and sellers. You will build our category management framework, tools and processes to ensure that our space allocation, selection coverage and promotional values are the most compelling in our market segment. You will be responsible for signing the right mix of selection in partnership with sellers, adding unique selection, driving traffic conversion, relevant promotion constructs while delivering top notch customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
The successful Category Manager must be able to:
. Develop and own selection methodology
. Develop hierarchy for selection prioritization and automated tools to provide data driven recommendations
. Develop agile processes to enable test and learn experiments on selection
. Work with data engineers to build out data driven customer journeys
. Be the functional leader in improving catalogue quality and driving conversion/customer engagement improvement through catalogue initiatives
. Build customer insights for the category that would feed into the roadmap to improve customer experience
Basic Qualifications :
. Strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management.
. Ability to think strategically and tactically, with excellent attention to detail
. Passionate about the grocery sector in India
. Bachelor’s degree
. 5+ years of relevant work experience
. Experience with Excel and database work
. Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
. Extensive experience in Category Management at an FMCG industry leader in food retail
Preferred Qualifications :
. Experience in consulting and/or retail/consumer products industries
. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
. Experience in SQL is a plus
