Amazon Recruiting Engine Team is reinventing how we recruit at Amazon. Recruiting the right candidates across all of Amazon is critical to our ability to innovate and build on behalf of customers. As the search for talent becomes more competitive, we are bringing together recruiting, science, tech, programs, and process teams to find and hire candidates who raise the bar more quickly and efficiently. Within the Recruiting Engine, this position is for the Recruiting Services team which comprises of scheduling and non-scheduling activities and has the following teams: Employee Referral Program, Students Program, Rehire Eligibility, Systems Support, Candidate & Travel Expense Management, Internal Loops Scheduling, Online Assessments, and Phone Screens.
Position Description:
The Content Management team is responsible for driving high quality training content for Recruiting Services (RS) associates. This includes creating engaging process and tool content, including instructor-led training, E-Learning and self-paced learning, blended learning, virtual classroom design, building tool kits and study guides and performance support aids. Recruiting Services (RS) is looking for innovative learning professionals to design engaging training curriculum for our front-line data associates. As an Instructional Designer, you will create and continuously improve learning programs using an array of creative approaches that inspire learners and drive productivity and accuracy.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities could include, and are not limited to:
. Design and develop learning solutions and programs applying adult learning principles and systematic.
. Build E-learning, instructor-led classroom and virtual classroom programs, performance assessments, surveys, and self-directed learning programs.
. Partner with operations and program leaders to align our learning programs with the expected business outcomes.
. Optimize the use of learning technologies that help us scale.
. Embed data collection and feedback mechanisms throughout our learning solutions to generate data-driven, actionable insights into the Associate Learning Experience. Lead efforts to drive continuous performance improvement from those insights.
. Analyze performance data to determine performance and learning objectives that deliver expected business results from new hire and cross-trained Associates.
. Manage and execute curriculum maintenance review and implementations cycles.
. Create, maintain, and improve process documentation and supporting content.
. Create, localize, and maintain central repository that the audience use to learn and educate them with process information.
. Provide detailed, timely communication and documentation to stakeholders regarding their content requests.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
. 3+ years of experience in learner experience design or instruction design.
. Expertise using eLearning development tools such as Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, and Captivate.
. Experience managing projects of small to medium scope, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
. Experience conducting training needs assessments.
. Experience assessing curriculum effectiveness to develop solutions that positively impact learner performance.
. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
. Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience in instructional design, communication, education, or related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Industry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, performance improvement, project management, and content-specific certifications as appropriate (e.g. CPLP, CPT, PMP, etc.).
. Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, online learning and learning technologies.
. Proficiency in graphic and/or web design skills.
. Experience with video design and development.
