The successful candidate will support the planning, design, and implementation of Anthology’s industry leading Student Information System (SIS), Anthology Student, for our channel partners in the Middle East and Africa in support of the end user. In this role the individual will enable our partners to successfully define requirements and align those with the software design. This role will require the skills and technical and industry expertise to evaluate business needs and utilize the best system solution to meet the requirements of the client effectively.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Working with our Channel partners to ensure they have an in-depth understanding of the tools, skills, and knowledge to gather information regarding program needs and successfully implement and support Anthology Student
Analyzing, defining, and documenting requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, operating system environments, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs
Designing, writing, and maintaining technical specifications that are specifically written to assist our channel partners successfully implement the Anthology Student Information System
Consulting directly with users as required to help solve business challenges
Staying up to date with the latest software releases and attending regular briefings regarding changes for Anthology Student
Practicing continuous learning through self-guided reading and research of relevant business practices, trends and strategies in higher education, analytics, workflow, or product-specific activities
Working with all IT functions with our customers and prospective customers, eliciting requirements, championing standards, and helping demonstrate and articulate secure, reliable, and scalable solutions
Reviewing solution options, researching and analyzing alternatives, and recommending solutions to business users
Designing protocols including QA and checkpoints via test transactions and run tests to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications
This role requires up to 30% travel
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree qualified or equivalent in Business/Communications or Computer Science
5 or more years of Technical/Functional Solutions Engineering or Professional Services experience or Higher Education experience supporting a Student Information System
Proven ability to lead initiatives and work with various teams, stakeholders, and partners
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills and is not afraid to pick up the phone
Ability to articulate and logically communicate concepts both technically and functionally
Ability to prioritize with strong project management skills
Ability to meet deadlines, follow up on commitments, and act as needed
Positive team player with the ability to develop and maintain internal and external professional relationships
Highly organized with an exceptional eye for detail
Ability to work collaboratively and build strong cross-functional relationships
Resilient and positive
Takes a strategic approach to work
Self-motivated and proactive to constantly learn and grow
Fluency in written and spoken English
Preferred skills/qualifications:
Fluency in Arabic

Microsoft Power Platform
Design patterns

Microsoft Azure SQL®
