The Role:
IT CoE ECO Monitoring TL – L1

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the Monitoring/Management tools to ensure effective monitoring capability.

Ensure team responds to alerts from Network Management Tools (NMS) as defined

Use Network Management Tools (NMS) like MRTG, NetFlow, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) and other tools to troubleshoot and generate reports.

Provide effective communication and coordination to all stakeholders on activities/issues.

Ensure that team performs all activities within defined quality parameters

Perform level 1 troubleshooting for all incidents that come to the L1 queue

Escalate issues/incidents to proper L2 teams/queues

Maintain device inventory up to date.

Perform required and defined documentation

Skills Required:
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi support.

Must have at least 1-year experience in Remote Mgmt. in a Global Platform

Must have at least 1-year experience in Managing a team

Knowledge of Network Management Tools (NMS) such as, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, NetFlow, MRTG.

Knowledge of call logging system BMC Remedy.

Exposure to configuration and Troubleshooting of Cisco Routers and Switches,

Exposure to WAN Technologies like Frame-Relay, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS

Exposure to LAN technologies like, VLAN, VTP, HSRP, STP

Exposure to Wireless technologies

Exposure to Palo Alto Firewall

Knowledge of ticket system (BMC Remedy, ITSM)

Knowledge of Management tool SolarWinds NPM Operations and Administration

Expected Qualities

Be “curious” and constantly willing to learn new stuff to be in accord with constantly evolving IT needs

Good communication skills.

Good knowledge of spoken and written English. Neutral English Accent

Guardian of IT established rules and intend to provide accurate, uniform and high-quality information to the end-users

Qualifications & Experience & Certifications

Should have a graduate degree in Electronics/ Computer Science/ Electrical

Trained in ITIL (v3) best practices

Certifications: CCNA or CCNP (Mandatory)
