Role description:
The engineer should be proficient in Electrical LV design, preferably in UK Rail sector, provide engineering solution, proficient/expert in using engineering software like Amtech, Dialux/Relux, NBS/NES & Furse. The Engineer should be able to develop/prepare specification, equipment schedules, knowledge of electrical devices and equipment, The Engineer should have knowledge of modelling tools and or Bluebeam software for markups and review. The Engineer shall be well versed with international standards such as British standards, CIBSE standard, UK building Regulations, Network Rail, TfL and other UK Standards and Regulations. The Engineer will have to liaise with other disciplines within the MEP Project Team and region (UK) office for coordination of MEP works and ensure all requirements are understood. The engineer is expected to liaise with the equipment manufacturer for selection and procurement. The Engineer should have good written and oral communication, agility to learn and apply BIM Technologies and emerging technology. The Engineer should have experience of managing a group of junior engineers and shall have knowledge of commercials and project estimation.
