What you’ll be doing:
Ownership of various systems engineering projects related to RHEL systems infrastructure.
Major Incident Management support and performance troubleshooting and work with various IT teams to troubleshoot performance issues.
Experience with Redhat Linux & AIX system Admiration skills.
Hands-on experience on Redhat IDM configurations and managing the Satellite server
Experience in a corporate environment on Linux & AIX with Vmware environment.
Architect, build, and troubleshoot Linux & AIX servers.
Recommend, design, and roll out cloud and physical network, storage, and system improvements to ensure redundancy, high availability, and security
VMware, vSphere, and vCenter management to support Linux VM’s.
Experience in a corporate environment on Linux with Vmware environment.
hands on Vmware
Manage and Administration on the Openshift Container Platform
Configure openshift cluster scaling
Configure pod scheduling
Manage users and policies
Experience on RHEL EOL migration and upgrades.
Design and Perform Patching schedules and ownership of OS and Security patching activities on Linux.
Tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
Perform automation for reoccurring BAU tasks to increase systems efficiency and reduce human intervention
Analyzing technical problems and creating solutions involving the use of existing techniques and/or tools
UNIX related network troubleshooting
multipathing, LVM and Disk management
LPAR,VIO,HMC management on IBM P-series servers.
Liaising with relevant support teams to ensure they are informed about relevant progress and issues relating to Unix servers
Significant experience in Automation tools like Ansible/Scripting to automate the day 2 day Linux & AIX tasks.
Good troubleshooting skills
monitor the system performance and ensures compliance with the security standards
Hands-on experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Puppet and Chef
Relevant hands-on experience in Annual DR activity.
Experience in preparing the documentation for technical and process .
Have worked in a Vmware Virtualization environment.
Provision of the Linux & AIXVM as per the project requirement.
Manage systems and network security to meet best practices and allow appropriate access without adding additional risk
Capacity planning and management
Esxi/Vmware management
Handling Data Center Operations with Business & Mission Critical applications
