Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead a technical team of experienced highly energetic, collaborative, and passionate professionals.
• Ownership of various systems engineering projects related to Windows systems infrastructure
• Architect and administer production environment Active Directory domain, DNS, and group policy in accordance with best practices.
• Architect, build and troubleshoot Windows 2008, 2012, & 2016,2019 systems for production and test platforms
• VMware, vSphere, and vCenter management and administration.
• Knowledge of windows inbuild tools to review error logs and user-reported errors and identify stable and reliable solutions
• Knowledge of Monitoring tools to scrutinize performance to reduce interruptions and server crashes. This can involve monitoring daily traffic logs and reports or working directly with end users
• Perform automation of routine tasks using PowerShell to increase systems efficiency and reduce human intervention
• Monitor, troubleshoot and capacity planning of vSphere environment
• Manage systems and network security to meet best practices and allow appropriate access without adding additional risk
• Capacity planning and management
• Design and maintain backup and redundancy strategies
• Manage Windows RDS environment for internal division employees to access production systems and applications
• Develop and update documentation of network and systems architecture
• Cross-train infrastructure team members in areas of expertise
• Work with systems and infrastructure manager and team to develop and implement infrastructure policies and procedures
• Work in Azure cloud windows servers for day-to-day support.
• Work on Nutanix Hardware code upgrades.
• Work on Esxi/Vmware version upgrades.
• Design and implement VMware solutions, troubleshoot VM environment problems, and provide technical support.
• Maintain system security by noticing faults and vulnerabilities within the server’s architecture.
• Experience with XenDesktop,XenApp, VDI.
• Manage Citrix Farms 6.57.x with Terminal Servers Upgrade/Maintenance
• Implement, Develop and maintain Citrix related standards, policies, and procedures
• Plan, design, and implement necessary configurations to ensure disaster recovery policies and compliance with windows and Citrix systems
• Perform administration of virtual desktops using Citrix Studiotools.
• Responsible for internal communication of critical systems information
• Develop, maintain, and document Windows and infrastructure installation and configuration procedures
• Rotating on-call responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft DCDNSADDHCPGroup policyIIS and Citrix Xendesktop,xenapp administration.
• Utilizing PowerShell and/or other scripting technologies to Automate the windows/Citrix server administration BAU activities.
• Experience with IIS, WSUS, RDS, and Windows Cluster management
• Familiarity with Nagios, New Relic, VictorOps, sumologic,Netreo
• Understanding of storage, SAN and Backup technologies
• Experience hosting SQL Server infrastructure
• MSCE, MSCA, or MCP a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Help the team with initial triage of platform issues
