We are hiring Tech Support Engineers (L1) for our client. Our client is a tech start up who is looking to hire candidates, who will initially be trained on the systems. Post the training period, candidates who fulfil the criteria will be onboarded full time. They have offices in 3 geographical locations,including Chennai.
After the training period, the candidate will be able to work on a hybrid / remote model. Eventually,the roles will be fully work from office (Guindy/OMR) in Chennai.
Job Description:
Manage business relationships, application performance, and the identification and delivery of new and existing application services to meet the business users known and emerging needs.
Should take ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
Proactively communicate with various business areas/leaders to understand short and long-term plans ensuring that applications meet the requirements for the end-users and the business.
Research, resolve, respond and document end user inquiries and escalate or reassign issues and problems as needed to appropriate resource for resolution.
Document current processes and procedures, build, maintain and contribute to a
knowledgebase for the organization’s systems.
Participate in scheduling rotation for providing after hours on-call escalation support to end-users.
Monitoring and respond to alerts
Handling Service Desk ticket count and keeping SLA in check
Provide On-Call service on a scheduled basis and troubleshooting of customer applications in a 24×7 model.
Ensure all issues are properly logged.
Requirements:
Have a profound interest in Blockchain and related technologies
Understanding of OSI model
Must have a clear understanding of cloud technologies
Must have Basic Knowledge of network like IP addresses vlan, VPN, routers etc
Basic understanding of database technologies.
Must be willing to work across technology stacks
Good communication skills written and oral
Knowledge about security components firewall, Anti-virus, WAF etc
Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
Keen to learn new technologies
Must be willing to work 24/7 model
Knowledge of any service management tool and monitoring solutions will be
considered as added advantages
Should be motivated, self-starter and a very good team player.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively are key.
Candidates should be self-motivated and ready to hit the ground running.
Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to present to large and small groups
Excellent client interaction skills

Pay: ₹300,000.00 – ₹600,000.00 per year
