The Strategy & Change Team supports our IT teams to align their objectives and key results to deliver the IT2025 strategic priorities. We are bringing clarity and cross functional team alignment, creating a culture and mindset that embraces collaboration, results management and outcomes thinking. As the Internal Communications Manager you will be responsible for delivering creative, compelling and consistent on-brand communications materials, briefings and employee experiences that encourage enduring engagement with the IT2025 and major change programmes driven from the Strategy & Performance function.
Accountabilities
You will support the Change Management Lead with the planning, creating & delivery of S&P and IT strategy and change communications, provide communication support to the IT Excellence Awards and Pulse, and develop and lead the ongoing delivery of the S&P communication plan.
Developing creative themes, new and innovative ways of communicating that excite and encourage our teams to engage with IT strategy and transformation journey. You will also lead internal communications initiatives that increase employee engagement and alignment with IT2025 and other transformation initiatives.
Your role will be to ensures that strategic, transformation initiatives adhere to on-brand communications practices (videos, brochures, social media materials) and that all communications share a unified, on-brand look and reflect the cultural diversity and sensitivity of our global organisation. Assisting in embedding new ways of working and promoting the IT Strategy and transformation plans and benefits. Monitoring and assisting in gaining employee feedback through formal and informal communications.
Coaching and developing the S&P communication capability through providing expert advice to S&P on creating creative and compelling communication materials for presentation to senior leaders and the organisation. Participate in cross-functional collaboration and information exchange across formal and informal change management & communications networks to identify best practices/new ways of working to implement into S&P.
You will maintain the S&P Workplace group and digital presence (Sharepoint /Nucleus) and promote the S&P function across the wider IT organisation (and AZ as appropriate) helping S&P leadership deliver highly engaging employee communications.
Essential Requirements:
Education/Experience/Skills Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, marketing or related field or relevant experience in a communications role
Experience managing communications requirements for senior partners
Excellent coordination, collaboration, organization, multi-tasking skills and experience in managing a busy programme of events
Clear and engaging communicator with an excellent eye for creating compelling visuals that tell a story
Strong influencer with the skills for communicating via digital channels
Confident and experienced at creating creative and compelling communication materials from a high-level brief and working through the iteration process that follows to achieve the required communication output
Ability to understand and interpret technical and performance related information and create compelling and engaging communications materials and campaigns
Experience in graphic design industry/graphic designer role
Skilled in the use of design tools e.g. Adobe creative suite to create compelling designs and content
Website design and online content management
