Ather Energy is building the future of electric vehicles in India. With the most reliable and desirable product out there Ather is going to be massively scaling in the coming years going from a volume of 25k/year to 4M/year in next 4 years.

Being a connected vehicle there is a massive amount of data of the order of 10Gb/month which is being collected from the vehicle. We also have connected vehicle products which depend on the real time data front of the vehicle. While we scale up our manufacturing, we will also be scaling up on our infrastructure needs for the connected products.

Ather is a very digital and data driven organization and we are looking for someone to further enhance the digital experience for the organization.

What will I be doing at Ather?

You will be heading the team responsible for the entire digital infrastructure and applications of the organization. You will be responsible for security, uptime, cost and scalability of the infrastructure and would be required to work in a heavy cross functional manner.

This includes infrastructure setup, maintenance and scaleup required for the

Connected platform of the vehicle

Connected platform of charging infrastructure

Entire business software tools meant for marketing, sales, order management system

Industrial IOT of Ather factory

You will also be managing tools like

Design data tools like PLM and Git

ERP tools

Customer service tools

And procurement and management of corporate requirements like IT assets, networking, collaboration tools, IT helpdesk

What kind of experience & skills do I need for this role?

We are looking for someone with knowledge in cloud infrastructure, with extensive experience on GCP and some knowledge of AWS. Understanding of various tools required for health management and delivering high uptime of the services.

Very strong understanding of data security related to corporate data and IOT and customer data

Strong knowledge of Windows, Windows server, Linux, Mac, Google accounts is must

Strong knowledge of networking and productivity tools required for corporate requirements

Good knowledge of cost of virtual and physical assets and ability to negotiate

What should I have graduated in?

B.Tech / BE / BSc / BCA with certifications in Security GCP
