Job Description
Bid Management
Function like a Bid Manager and work on responding to RFQ from clients globally
Build customized proposals
Keep a detailed track of win/loss. Review and investigate bid loss reasons
Sales Support
Suggest services that can be pitched to a prospect and create proactive pitch material
Build customized pitch decks and discussion documents as per client requirements
Generate Collaterals, Case Studies, White Papers, etc and assist Sales in pitch evangelism.
Assist sales team in prospecting with relevant pitch and market/company-specific data
Work with sales team to identify pipeline and plan activities on a weekly basis
Knowledge Asset Development and Management
Build knowledge assets like practice decks, domain decks, case studies, flyers, etc.
Maintain repositories of sales support content on knowledge management portal/site
Update content frequently to ensure recency
Marketing Activities
Assist in website enrichment
Build flyers and brochures for campaigns
Assist in demos and accelerator site development
Stakeholder Management
Manage stakeholder/s expectations
Plan activities, interim deliverables, and checkpoints
Bring everyone involved together for brainstorming
Management Reporting
Tracks sales support activities KPIs and present to senior leadership
Provide suggestions for betterment
Provide weekly reports to provide visibility on the pipeline, probable deals, etc. for planning and tracking business growth
Responsible for supporting in identifying opportunities and closing small to medium-sized deals in different geographies.
Define and implement a structured way of handling opportunities first client meeting/solution pitch / RFP response / RFI response/presentation etc.
Responsible for generating leads, upselling, and solution-based selling RFP Management / Bid Management
Managing the entire bid process by preparing, pitching, and presenting the proposals to the customers
Integrating the response and ensuring that response gets submitted as per timeline and customer requirement ensuring high margins
Keeping abreast of market trends and products & competitor landscapes
Study competition to find new ways to retain customers
Set sales and revenue targets and work diligently to meet them
Required Skills
Strong experience in assisting and/or selling complex IT services (Primary Requirement)
Proven track record of managing and supporting large bids from a pre-sales perspective
Demonstrated performance in Complex Solutioning and innovative deal construct
Consultative, Value-proposition/ Business case driven pre-sales methodology experience is highly desirable
Strong Techno-Commercial/ Business Orientation and Cost Sensitive
Good understanding of Global Delivery around Web Portal Development, Mobile Apps, eCommerce, CMS, and SEO .
Knowledge of different costs in the delivery of services and experience of putting together a commercial proposal
Self-Driven and Motivated
Financial management experience: Estimating, Budgeting, Pricing, Risk assessment
Execute on assigned RFP/RFI/proposals/proposal sections and deliver a high-quality response in terms of content, formatting, and value-adds
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure, rapidly evolving entrepreneurial environment
Excellent Program Management and Consulting Skills
Hands-on experience in writing proposals and delivering customer presentation
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Excellent presentation and proposal/RFP skills
