Your Profile
You should have a strong foundation in computer science and information technology, as well as excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills. Some specific qualifications that may be required or preferred for this role include:
Familiarity with operating systems, servers, networking equipment, and other hardware and software components.
Basic knowledge of IT security practices.
Basic knowledge of Unix systems.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Strong team player with the ability to work in a cross-functional team.

You Will Learn
As a DevOps and IT intern, you will have the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills and knowledge related to maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, networks. You will also get mentoring to learn DevOps tools and practices. While you are working as an intern, some specific areas that you may focus on include:
Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software components, including operating systems, servers, storage devices, and networking equipment.
Management of servers, desktops, laptops and smart devices belonging to the organization, using tools like anti-virus solutions, firewall and other relevant software.
Managing user accounts, permissions, and security protocols to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.
Maintaining systems by applying patches and performing regular backups.
Learn about and comply with various SOPs for system troubleshooting, maintenance and security compliance.
Coordinating with external vendors to obtain hardware and software.
Monitoring system performance and identifying and resolving issues that may arise, such as system outages or hardware failures.
Providing technical support to users, including diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and assisting with the installation and configuration of software and hardware.
You will get the opportunity to learn a wide range of cloud computing (Amazon Web Services) skills and expertise.
Researching and evaluating new tools and technologies and continuously learning on the job to develop a strong foundation in the skills and knowledge needed to become a successful DevOps and IT engineer.
