Job Summary:
Our Avient IT team is seeking an experienced SAP Financial Systems Analyst that will work across an array of financial applications including SAP FICO, SAP ARIBA, SAP Concur, Hyperion, and AP automation platforms. You will join a global organization operating in over 40 countries and be responsible for implementing and enhancing world class financial applications. Your business analyst skills will be valuable in partnering with our Finance team and many other areas of the business to evaluate opportunities to improve and streamline the recording and reporting of financial transactions with the goal of driving business results. You will also be a key member of ensuring timely and accurate integration of newly acquired companies in a fast paced global organization. While this role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the world, if preferred, you are welcome to work in person as well if you are located near an Avient office.

Makes configuration and coding changes within the SAP FI and CO modules and other applications such as SAP Ariba, Hyperion, Itesoft FMFI, and SAP Concur
Transform financial applications by developing and cultivating key relationships throughout the business
Maintain relevant technical documentation to ensure streamlined support and knowledge transfer within areas of responsibility
Provides break-fix support to any solution and system. Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting the business
Provide technical and functional support for all key financial systems
Other duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems or related business field required
3+ years of experience in functional analyst roles
SAP or Oracle experience is preferred
Experience implementing or supporting a SAP S/4 landscape is preferred
Ability to work independently and as a part of a global team at all levels is required
Excellent collaboration skills within a team, across other IT functions, and with business users is required
Superior trouble-shooting and problem solving skills is required
