System Administrator

The System Administrator represents the Enterprise ICT Organization, and will cooperate with other IT functions to support the regular flow of business and IT projects and tasks. The System Administrator will adhere to all standards, policies, procedures, and security requirements. This associate will proactively improve processes and determine and recommend more effective products and applications. The System Administrator supports hardware, software, and other technical solutions. This associate will adhere to all SLAs and communicate in a timely manner with stakeholders. While most tasks can be executed from the office, varying degrees of travel may be required.
Your responsibilities:
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and other IT solutions:
Should be able to work any shift
Should be able to work on-call shifts as required
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and other IT solutions
Installation software:
Ability to install software
Complete tasks required to maintain service levels
Follow all ICT policies and procedures
Follow security best practices
Has good communication and customer service skills:
Ability to communicate to all levels of management
Escalate cases to appropriate teams when necessary
Escalate all major incidents
Ability to add, change or modify new or existing reports
Provide assistance to other technical teams and follow security best practices:
Manage system status, taking steps to improve performance, and reliability as directed and per established policies and procedures
Provide assistance to other technical teams (hands-on support)
Proactively provide high levels of ICT availability, performance monitoring, and capacity management, following ICT best practices and adhering to any company/department SLAs
Will install, move, and remove cabling and/or equipment
Design, develop, and/or update and implement team standards, processes, and documentation:
Will monitor, correct, and report observed infractions of security policies and procedures

We’re looking for you if your profile matches the following:
5 to 6 years Technical Experience in a 24 x 7 IT Environment
Good Communication Skills, Oral, Written and Presentation
Working Knowledge of IT systems
Effective Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Skills
Good Customer Service Skills
Ability to Interpret and Follow Written IT Policies and Procedures
Some Experience with Microsoft Business Software Applications and Other Communication Tools
Travel
Technical Degree or Equivalent on the Job Experience
Certification in ITIL Standards
Microsoft and/or Cisco Certifications
