Role: IT Administrator
Timings: Full Time (Monday-Friday) UK Shift (1.30 PM IST – 9.30 PM IST)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Administrator with 5 years/5+ to 10 yrs of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company’s IT infrastructure, focusing on server related issues, laptops, desktops, phones, and other IT-related systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer service-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
– Hardware and Software Management:
– Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
– Manage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on various devices.
– Ensure all devices are updated with the latest security patches and software updates.
– Handle serious server related issues.
– Network and Systems Administration:
– Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
– Implement and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Technical Support:
– Provide first and second-level support for IT-related issues.
– Assist employees with technical issues related to their workstations, phones, and other IT equipment.
– Security and Compliance:
– Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
– Perform regular security audits and risk assessments.
– Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
IT Projects:
– Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
– Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their IT needs.
– Provide training and support for new IT initiatives.
– Asset Management:*
– Track and manage IT assets, mainly software inventory.
– Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and processes.
– Generate regular reports on IT performance, issues, and activities.
Qualifications:
– Education and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT administration role.
– Technical Skills:
– Proficient in managing Windows and Mac OS environments.
– Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
– Strong knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
– Familiarity with IT security practices and tools.
– Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
