Senior IT and Compliance Administrator
As a part of supporting Blueshift’s growth, we are looking to bring a dedicated IT administrator on-board to help meet employees’ ongoing IT requirements on a timely basis. As the only member of the IT team, you will work with both internal stakeholders to identify the ongoing needs and gaps and also with external infrastructure and service providers to identify the most suitable solutions, plan procurement, purchase those solutions, and deliver them timely towards the best employee working experience.
Responsibilities
Planning, implementing, and maintaining the local office network and other office equipment.
Providing laptop management and support – both onsite and remote
Assisting IT related cloud service accounts management such as those from Atlassian, AWS, and other Alerting & Monitoring SAAS products.
Working with other teams to plan the IT purchasing and provisioning for upcoming new hires.
Working with external vendors to identify and prepare pre-configurable equipment processes.
Investigating the market solution alternatives and discussing finalizing best possible equipment.
Working with IT and security teams to configure and maintain best practices of equipment and services.
Tracking and managing equipment inventory.
Preparing and presenting weekly and monthly reports of ongoing IT tickets, priorities, backlogs and challenges.
Participate in ongoing security and compliance practices with state of the art tools.
Requirements
At least 8 years of laptop and network administration experience for software / cloud companies. Longer experience is definitely welcome. Having worked at a startup will be a big plus.
Must have done Apple Mac Laptops & tablets administration – this includes MDM and remote management – this experience is essential.
Proficiency with Linux computers with detailed understanding of OS configurations.
Understanding of IP networking on various devices and settings including security configurations.
Must have experience bundling images with pre-installed apps, preferably using JAMF.
Experience with Endpoint security configuration, monitoring and logs review.
Experience with management and upkeep of office equipment.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelors / Masters degree in computers or other related fields.
