Job Role:
Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the Sr. Executive Information Technology plays a
key role in supporting the Companies business processes, computer, network and telecommunications
infrastructure, and data security systems and assets; oversees staff; participates in the development and
implementation of effective IT systems in alignment with the Companies strategic plan, technology plan, business
planning objectives and Companies policy; supports the record management processes; troubleshoots, advises and
assists with software, technical support and IT helpdesk and ensures a high level of customer service.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in the implementation of effective IT systems in alignment with the Companies technology
plan and policy.
Ensure the security of the Companies computing environment and data; assign security and access
privileges for users; monitor traffic and internet usage; address areas of concern and perform
investigations in support of human resource matters; troubleshoot technical problems.
Monitor service level agreements regarding voice and data communications, computer equipment and
multimedia; identify performance issues and assist in the resolution.
Provide IT troubleshooting, advice and assistance related to software, implementation and operation,
technical support and system architecture; install and test operating systems and application package
systems for users; analyze operating problems in hardware, software and business processes; help to in
implementing changes.
Establishes system by planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of PC
and server hardware, software, LAN and WAN networks, and operating and system management
systems; defining system and operational policies and procedures.
Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning;
troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems;
designing and running system load/stress testing; escalating application problems to vendor.
Secures system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing
disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications;
maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Ensure user work stations function correctly on the network; administer an electronic mail system for all
users; help to provide security administration and define the network environment.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Perform selected duties of the colleague his/her absence.
Should be able to work in shifts.
Ability to analyze information, problem solve and make effective decisions.

Competencies:
Knowledge of Video Conferencing Devices.
Knowledge of Switches Ruckus & Ubiquiti
Knowledge of Exchange server, SIP Phones, Anti-Spam platforms, Virtualization platforms & Backup and
restore processes.
Considerable Knowledge of Linux platform
Should be comfortable with ITIL Process & ISO documentations.
Considerable technical knowledge in the field of assignment and issues relevant to an Aviation domain.
Considerable knowledge of related information management, telecommunications, multiplatform and
data security infrastructure and systems.
Considerable knowledge/understanding of Aviation domain policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Technical college with major course work in Computer Science, Bachelor in Computer Application, Bachelor of
Engineering or related field; considerable progressive experience in network management and support in a multiplatform
systems environment; or an equivalent combination of experience acceptable to the Aviation Industry.
