POSITION PURPOSE
To contribute as a programmer on application development, enhancements, maintenance and support activities for multiple applications across all SDLC phases.
Responsibilities
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in Database Performance management
Should be able to write queries using complex joins, filter criteria, type cast when required
Should be able to code using various procedural constructs such as Packages, Procedures, Functions etc.
Perform SQL query tuning and refactoring.
Perform PLSQL procedural programming and tuning
Should be able to debug issues in SQL queries or any of the database constructs
Should carry out detailed unit testing based on the scenarios provided.
Database Schema Creation and Management
Perform Datadump, Rman backups
Perform Database Capacity planning
Should be equipped with writing Shell Scripts
Should be comfortable to work using Database development tools
Should create technical documentation such as the entity relationship diagrams, unit-testing documentation and technical design specifications for the deliverables.
CONTRIBUTING RESPONSIBILITIES
Should participate in stand ups and contribute to various project and organizational processes defined
Would be good to have IT experience in Finance domain

MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Strong knowledge on Oracle Database performance management
Strong knowledge on SQL and PLSQL tuning
Strong knowledge on Database schema creation and management
Strong knowledge on database migration using rman, rman duplicate, datapump etc.
Strong knowledge on Database capacity planning
Good Shell Scripting skills
Good Understanding on CI/CD Pipeline
Strong knowledge of version control tools, preferably Bitbucket
Ability & willingness to learn & work on diverse technologies (languages, frameworks, and tools)
Thorough understanding of complete Software Development Lifecycle
Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and inclination to constantly upgrade on new technologies and frameworks.
