Position Purpose

The Senior Technical Lead would sit within the Securitisation IT team in Mumbai, India as part of Global Markets, Risk and P&L. The aim of this team is to work closely with the Securitisation IT team in London to support securitisation businesses across the group and the regulatory capital reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

This technical role includes managing the team in Mumbai as well as supporting, designing, and implementing new business logic and reports within the existing framework as well as maintaining and enhancing existing functionality, including the task of moving existing processes from development into a tier-1 production environment.

The business has two in-house applications that support its main activities of securitisation. One of the in-house applications is built on 3-tiers: Angular web client, C# services middle tier with restful API and SQL server database. This application has links to another in-house application that is built on Documentum/Oracle database with Java and Angular interface. The candidate’s skillsets must match at least one of the technology stacks described.

Key Responsibilities

works closely with Business Analysts to ensure the deliveries meet requirements

develops, unit tests and implements new functionality and enhancements in the system in accordance with bank-wide technical architecture standards

manages code reviews and source control repository as well as deployments (with APS)

improves existing software by correcting bugs, refactoring or rewriting code when identified necessary

Manages general software issues relating to data integrity, system efficiency, functional architecture, performance etc.

provides a clear progress update on tasks to the domain manager on a regular basis, escalates risk and issues in a timely manner

provides mentoring and guidance to other team members and sets the technical direction within the scope of the concerned applications

To effectively communicate individual objectives for the team and to continuously monitor the team’s performance

To feed all required information in the budget process

To ensure good accounting and forecast of resources usage via standard tool

Proven experience of .Net: C#, ASP.NET and MS SQL Server database Or Proven experience of Java and Oracle database

Experience in cross-platform applications highly desirable

Experience in Documentum is highly desirable
