Position Overview:
The Cloud Sales Business Development Manager (BDM) plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and adoption of cloud-based solutions and services within the organization. The BDM will be responsible for identifying potential clients, cultivating relationships, and driving revenue through the sale of cloud-based products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the cloud services market.
Research and understand the target market, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and increase market share.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling value propositions and solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops to showcase cloud offerings.
Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for cloud products and services.
Develop and deliver effective sales strategies, proposals, and quotes.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals while ensuring profitability.
Forecast sales, track progress, and provide regular reports to senior management.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven track record in cloud sales, business development, or related roles.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, services, and architectures.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Proficient in CRM software, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
