You will be primarily responsible for quality assurance activities supporting our implementation of SAP S/4 Hana Cloud. You will lead a team of internal and external quality engineers spread across multiple program work streams, with responsibility for ensuring the highest quality standards are met for this new foundational platform. This is a multi-year transformation program which requires not only the successful configuration of global processes, but the implementation of local regulatory business requirements for our 90+ offices in 50+ countries.
This role will oversee quality assurance activities as well as perform all other related tasks, such as:
Establishing and developing a team of high performing quality engineers
Establishing a test plan and strategy that focuses on both functional and non-functional testing
Building and maintaining automated test scripts (component and end-to-end) for the new platform, integrating those with version control & CI/CD pipelines for automated execution and reporting
Validating the successful implementation of configured business logic in SAP S/4 Hana Cloud
Validating the successful implementation of differentiating business logic in customized components built to work with the SAP platform
Validating the accuracy and completeness of data migrated from legacy platforms to SAP S/4 Hana Cloud, plus the accuracy and completeness of data moving from the SAP platform to the BCG data layer
Validating the successful and dependable implementation of integrations to and from dependent applications
Establishing quality assurance best practices, objectives and key results for the transformation program
YOU’RE GOOD AT
Thinking strategically and developing executable plans to achieve business outcomes
Leading multiple types of testing strategies to ensure all system components work successfully together
Coordinating the tracking of reported software defects and working with implementation teams to resolve critical bugs
Collaborating with implementation teams and stakeholders to identify testing requirements that help define the development of software test plans, test strategies, and test scripts to ensure a quality product
Operating with a transparency mindset, communicating clearly and openly both above and below
Applying Agile product delivery methodologies and principles, including work estimation techniques and cost-benefit automation strategies
Learning new tools and technologies with a high degree of competence
Working with multicultural distributed teams located in different time zones
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, required. Major in Business, Finance, Technology or related field encouraged.
Experience with multi-national ERP transformations or similar large-scale change program
Hands-on experience in writing test scenarios, test cases, test execution and defect reporting and managing them on Zephyr or other Test Management System
Experience of various types of testing – functional testing, system testing, integration testing, API Testing and regression testing on cloud-based systems
Experience using test automation suites such as SmartBear – TestComplete, Selenium, UFT, Postman, SOAP etc., plus experience writing automated end-to-end tests
Experience in SQL, Java, C+ , Python is preferred
Established knowledge of finance/ accounting domain
Experience in managing a globally distributed team
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Testing Life Cycle
