BCG Operations Services provides enterprise scale services to all BCG offices, functions, and alternative businesses. Our services fall within five areas:
Meeting Services: Provides full-service and self-service event planning support for BCG meetings and events of all sizes, from the WWOM to local office outings
Global Real Estate: Supports location sourcing and design for all BCG businesses; plus leads the firms’ research & exploration into new workplace design
Travel: Manages our strategic relationships with all large travel vendors; provides operational infrastructure and support for all BCG employee travel activity
Safety & Security: Establishes BCG’s policies and procedures regarding workplace and event safety, as well as overseeing all workplace crisis management
Sustainability: leads BCG environmental sustainability initiatives, including Net Zero program
BCG is investing to grow the Operations Services (OS) team to ensure high-ROI and high-quality services are provided in these areas across all BCG businesses. This is requiring expansion and, in some cases, reorganization of the OS teams, re-design of our customer service models and processes, training of our teams, and sourcing and implementation of new technology platforms and customer engagement tools.
As such, each OS team is in need of many types of support to enable these changes: strategy refinement; change program definition and management; investment case definition; stakeholder management; and change management. The Operations Services Excellence Team (OSXT) provides these and other forms of support to all teams within Operations Services.
Your role will be part of the Ops & Workplace Tribe, specifically the Global Real Estate digital squad.
Help evaluate the Global Real Estate digital products and ensure they match to market trends and business demand
Work on assignments including configuration/upgrade/maintenance of the SaaS platform, complex data analysis projects that can be multi-disciplinary or interdepartmental
Initiate and support stakeholder discovery for feature definition and serve as a liaison between the IT squad and stakeholders
Ensure epics and user stories are updated and available for story execution based on priority
Write user stories and facilitate story refinement sessions to ensure they meet team standards and acceptance criteria
Support business stakeholders to elicit business and non-functional requirements, own and understand the data models, perform gap analysis and feasibility checks, write clear and comprehensive end-user documentation, configure changes, and work with other team members to develop and execute comprehensive test plans
Provide support to address end-user’s issues, questions and troubleshoot
Work with a variety of tools (e.g.: SaaS product, SQL, Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.) to maintain/update system configurations, to access data, write queries, develop logic, run reports, manipulate data, and analyze datasets to meet the needs of the stakeholders
YOU’RE GOOD AT
Actively monitoring and resolving issues with a sense of urgency, proactively communicating to keep key stakeholders and management team informed
Proactively identifying and independently solving most non-routine problems by applying broad knowledge, troubleshooting system issues as they arise
Understanding and translating business needs into written agile user stories for the squad to progress
Gaining a detailed understanding of multiple digital products and their features to serve as a subject matter expert for the squad
Understand IT landscape and architecture to allow for the extraction of data with the understanding of how that data interacts across the business systems
Engages in data exploration exercises with a variety of complex ETL and business intelligence tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake, SQL etc.), if needed
Extract and organize data in a way that can be quickly utilized by other members of the team and/or by the business, increasing their ability to make clear and quick decisions
Working independently with minimal day to day guidance, prioritizing your time and communicating clearly at all levels of the organization
Defining and executing multiple tasks or more complex tasks with timely, high-quality results
Applying Agile product delivery methodologies and principles, including work estimation techniques
Learning new tools and technologies with a high degree of technical competence
Working with multicultural distributed teams located in different time zones and have the capacity to work on multiple projects concurrently.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ServiceNow, Jira, Trello

Flexibility, willingness to learn and adapt to changing needs of the squad based on customer priorities.
Basic understanding of the database, data models and hands-on experience with writing SQL queries
Hands on experience with the Data visualization tools (such as Tableau) to be able to develop, update and maintain the dashboards, as needed
Minimum 7 years hands-on experience in a role supporting digital products, preferably in an analyst role
