This an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Technician to provide focus on hardware and software issues to enable the effective use of business software and information systems.
The IT Support Technician will carry out IT operations laid out by IT management and provide administrative support for the daily operational activities of the IT Department. This position will also resolve work order tickets, provide hands-on and remote-controlled workstation support services, ensure proper software is available to users, troubleshoot and resolve, and carry out the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems including PCs, operating systems, hardware, and software.
As a self-motivated, driven and experienced individual, you will clearly understand a multi-location and help desk environment. Additionally, your extensive knowledge of IT allows you to effectively prioritize, research into IT issues, and translate technical terms into non-technical ones when assisting support customers.
You are someone who loves a challenge and focuses on quality services and process improvement. You are communicative and responsive and carry strong interpersonal skills. You strive to be an expert at maintaining and upgrading the computing environment to achieve great outcomes as a key member of our organization.
Key Technical Criteria
1-2 years of experience in a help desk environment
1-2 years of experience in a multi-location environment
Hardware experience in PCs, Laptops, Printers, Servers, etc.
Network experience managed switches, firewalls & wireless access points
Software experience in Windows 10, MS Office 2016, 2019, O-365, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Bitlocker, Kaseya, VMWare, VCenter
Active Directory, Exchange 2016, MDM software
This role will be based in Coimbatore.
