About this role
You will be a leader, on the Bid you are working. You will be in touch of all parts of BT. You can be creative and proactive.
You’ll have the following responsibilities
Winning new business You will lead and/or be accountable for defining the customer enterprise or solution architectures and designs for complex bids; especially requirements/cost tracking; leading and driving the solution team during bid phase; drive solution strategy and align with deal architect.
As a role holder you will be accountable for the end-to-end technical & service design, working to agreed BT processes and best practice. You may support simultaneous deals.
You will lead the Team defining the technical, operational and delivery designs for BT Global solutions whilst maintaining an end-to-end viewpoint on the benefits and outcomes for the customer and BT.
You will work in challenging environments with new or non-standard components, complex combinations of portfolio and custom elements and non-standard SLAs, considering that the objectives is to BT as much as possible aligned with the BT’s strategy.
You will have the chance to work collaboratively across BT lines of business and with external suppliers and partners to create innovative solutions.
You will have responsibility for all aspects of the end-to-end architecture role with a demonstrable level of expertise and capability for: -Major Deals & Solution definition -Governance, Standardisation & Re-use -Leadership & Stakeholder -Reports & communication
You will report to the management the status of the bids, the risks, and the solution using BT’s tools (that might change during your SOLA’s experience). Information is key.

Excellent stakeholder management skills
Outstanding communications and presentations skills (customer facing)
