Job Description:
The Solution Architect / Associate Director – Infrastructure Practice will lead the business development, marketing, and sales of infrastructure practice for the company. You will work closely with the marketing and sales departments to win new businesses. An ideal candidate will have a blend of strong technical, sales, and business skills related to IT infrastructure services, cloud migration, cloud security, and cloud infrastructure management, including server/laptop/desktop management, backup, network security, telephony, and information security.
Job Responsibilities:
Engage with prospects and customers – collaborate with the sales team to develop a strong relationship and grow sales.
Assist the Sales Team with pre-sales activities and convince the prospects about the solutions proposed
Work with the sales team to grow business – including preparing proposals, cost estimates, presentations, etc.
Lead or participate in strategic infrastructure projects for the customers.
Build organization assets – identify patterns and prepare solutions that can be leveraged across customers/prospects.
Design, architect, and implement infrastructure solutions, which may include but not be limited to end-point management, backup/DR, cloud, and data center infrastructure and security.
Build, retain, coach, mentor, and motivate a strong team for service delivery.
Supervise and manage your team providing infrastructure services to the clients.
Plan, implement and manage the IT infrastructure needs of customers.
Assess, plan and migrate on-prem workloads to public and/or private cloud.
Plan and implement information security policies; perform periodic audits and improvements.
Implement backup and business continuity procedures and periodically review and update them.
Implement end-point security mechanisms that are aligned with the business needs.
Provide compliance services related to HIPAA, SOC2, etc.
Education:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science,Information Systems, or similar.
Experience:
10 years in managing IT infrastructure
At least 5 years delivering infrastructure services to customers in the USA or Europe.
Skills & Personality:
Good balance of technology and sales skills.
Good knowledge and skills of all IT-related technologies, including IT Security related technologies.
Good knowledge and hands-on experience and skills related to Windows and Linux, servers and desktops; virtualization.
Skills in managing AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
Detail understanding of information security, malware analysis, network threats, and related security controls
Knowledge of Governance Risk and Compliance
CISSP, CISA, or similar ISACA certification
Very hands-on, get-things-done person
