Development- and Deployment Lead (T6)

Job Description
In this role, you will work in a team which is defining and deploying a throughput optimized solution for functional verification regression in our customer base. The responsibilities include the lead of a cross functional team in Bangalore. The team works on the solution product validation, customer deployment and deployment package development. You will be the main contact of the team for the product owner.
You will lead and run solution deployments in our customers. You will scope the situation upfront, define a deployment plan and execute it together with the sales team. Deployment and product engineers will support you. You will also lead the internal deployment package/demo development, and you are a lead developer as well. In this role you are expected to understand the development needs and work with the overall product owner and R&D management to conceptualize, plan and implement them with the team.
You will be working in an agile team and will be responsible for proactively driving improvements on the end-to-end solution level as well as on sub-concepts. As a senior manager you are expected to mentor junior members in the team in Bangalore. You are also expected to grow the team in size and skills.
To achieve this, you will need to quickly become familiar with a large complex system with technologies that are potential new for you.
In this role, travel may be required.
Job requirements
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in SW deployment in customer environments
Minimum of 5+ years’ leading a deployment and development team with own contribution as script/Python developer
Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting, Python and development tools like git, JIRA
Experience in Cloud SW deployment would be an advantage
Experience with Cadence Xcelium/Incisive Simulator, and vManager would be an advantage
Agile SW development practice is something you are used to
Confidence to challenge, question and explore presented problems and solutions on customer management level
Explore what’s possible to get the job done, including creative use of unconventional solutions
You are a creative and customer success focused person
Ability to understand complex issues and break them down into sensible concepts
Drive their implementation by working with multiple internal teams
You are self-driven in that process, and you seek cross functional team input
Excellent team working and communication skills
Will be working in a geographically distributed team and therefore should be comfortable using remote communication techniques to understand and convey complex concepts
Ability to establish a close working relationship with both customer peers and management
Travel may be required
